Our BAP project "Of rats and robots: A mutual learning paradigm" received lots of attention by the media, following DHA's visit to the lab:

This proof-of-concept study, to be completed in 1 year, aims to establish a novel learning paradigm by combining operant conditioning and machine learning. This paradigm will offer a platform to test the efficacy of different types of learning models in interactive environments.
Oğuzcan Nas is working on the project as part of his Cognitive Science M.A. thesis. He is co-supervised by Asst. Prof. Emre Uğur from the Department of Computer Engineering (Cognitive Learning and Robotics Lab).
