Congrats and Farewell to Dilan

Monday, March 11, 2024
Our dedicated Research Assistant, Dilan Gökalp, successfully defended her thesis on the same day we received the exciting news of our article's acceptance: The Role of mGluR5 on the Therapeutic Effects of Ketamine in Wistar Rats in Psychopharmacology: https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/s00213-024-06571-3.pdf
Dilan has been an integral part of our team, serving as the Lab RA from late 2020 until 2024. During her tenure, she made invaluable contributions to various technical and scientific improvements in our lab. Notably, she completed a comprehensive behavioral pharmacology project that shed light on the role of the metabotropic glutamate receptor 5 (mGluR5) in mediating the therapeutic effects of ketamine.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dilan and wish her the very best in her future scientific endeavors!
