FRM 2025

Defne and Sinem attended the FENS Regional Meeting (FRM) 2025, held from June 16–19 in Oslo, Norway, where they presented two posters: Functional and Neurochemical Characterization of CaMKIIα-Expressing Neurons in the Ventral Pallidum and Dopaminergic Circuitry in the Japanese Quail: Fiber Analysis and Synaptic Targets in the Nidopallium Caudolaterale.

Prior to the meeting, Defne received the prestigious Early Career Training Programme (ECTP) grant, which allowed her to visit the GliaLab at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Oslo. During her visit, she also had the opportunity to present our quail research in detail.
